Natural Hair Growth Oil Recipe

You can use all or some of these oils or essential oils. Use what you have.
  • 2 Tbsp Fractionated Coconut Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Avocado Oil
  • ½ Tbsp Castor Oil
  • 1 tsp Jojoba oil
  • 2 drops cypress essential oil
  • 2 drops cedarwood essential oil (or peppermint essential oil)
  • 2 drops rosemary essential oil
  1. Combine all oils in a 2 oz dropper bottle
  2. SCALP APPLICATION: Apply a few drops to the scalp in various placed beneath your hair using the dropper and massage into the scalp. Leave on for 20-30 minutes (or longer if you can) and then wash hair normally. Be careful not to use too much if you use natural shampoos as it will make it harder to get the oil out.
  3. HAIR PROTECTION: After washing, apply to damp hair on the ends by placing a few drops into your hand, rubbing your hands together, and then applying to the ends of your hair, working your way up as you go. You only need a few drops! You can then style your hair as you normally would.
  4. STYLING and DEFRIZZING: Place a few drops onto your hands, rub your hands together and then lightly comb your fingers through your hair, careful to not focus on just one area. After most of the oil is off of of your hands, brush your hair or scrunch it with your hands. You will get a smooth and shiny finish. The key is to learn how much to use. Start with a tiny amount and build from there.
