Sweet Cornbread

Equipment

  • 1 13x9 in baking dish
  • 1 large glass bowl
  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 measuring cups

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup butter , softened
  • ⅔ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-2/3 cups milk
  • 2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 cup corn flour
  • 4-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
    2/3 cup butter, 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined.
    3 eggs, 1-2/3 cups milk, 2 cups unbleached all purpose flour, 1-1/2 cup corn flour, 4-1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pour into a greased 13in x 9in baking dish.
  • Bake at 400 Degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes or until fork inserted comes out clean.
