Weigh water into a glass or plastic bowl and set aside. Wearing gloves, poor lye into a zip close bag and set aside. Wearing gloves, goggles, and a charcoal mask, take the water and lye outside and pour the lye into the water and stir until the lye is dissolved. Allow to cool until around 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Pour the lye water into the oils and blend with a stick blender until light trace.
Remove 1/2 cup of soap into bowl #1 and 1/2 cup into bowl #2. Add charcoal to first bowl and Moroccan clay to the second bowl. Whisk each well so that there are no lumps.
Pour main soap batch into a prepared soap mold. Scrape the sides well with a rubber spatula.
Drizzle black soap over the mold back and forth. Repeat with orange soap. Use a dowl rod or shop stick and insert it into one end of the mold. Drag that stick back and forth one direction and then repeat going the other direction up and down the mold. Don't over mix.
Cover and let cure for 24 hours before removing from the mold and cutting. Allow to cure for 3-6 weeks to continue to harden.
