Ingredients
9ouncesOlive Oil
5ouncessweet almond oil
5ouncescoconut oil
5ouncespalm oil
3.4 ounceslye
9ouncesAloe Vera Liquidor water
0.5ouncesorange essential oil
0.5ouncescinnamon leaf essential oil
0.25ouncesGinger Essential Oil
1teaspoonground cinnamon
Instructions
Weigh and combine sweet almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil, and palm oil in a large stainless steel pot and heat over low heat until oils are melted. Cool to around 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Weigh aloe (or water) and lye in separate containers. Outside, with protective gloves, goggles, and mask, slowly add lye to the water (be careful. Lye will burn your skin if it touches you. Don't inhale vapors either!). Stir. Cool to around 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
3.4 ounces lye, 9 ounces Aloe Vera Liquid
Pour lye water into oils and blend with hand mixer until light trace.
