I hope you’ve have a wonderful week. Before we get to the Homestead Blog Hop, I wanted to pass on a few of my favorite January projects. When it’s cold outside and I hibernate inside, I like to think about Spring and make new plans for the coming garden, what new chickens or ducks I want to get (Hey, I can dream), and make lotions and hand salves for my winter dry skin. Here’s a few of my recipes and DIYs for you too:

  • Lotion Recipe
  • Hand Salve
  • Garden Planning
  • DIY Potting Soil
  • How to Start Raising Chickens.

I hope that gives you some ideas to get started. Now check out all of the wonderful ideas and recipes below!

Welcome to the Homestead Blog Hop!

Homestead Blog Hop will take place every Wednesday and is for all things homesteading: real food recipes, farm animals, crafts, DIY, how-to’s, gardening, anything from-scratch, natural home/health, self-sufficiency, self-reliance, natural remedies, essential oils, & more! Basically anything related to homesteading.

Join us for the Homestead Blog Hop for ideas and tips for gardening, homesteading, raising animals, crafts and recipes.

Thank you so much for the feature! Baby chick season is almost here, and my article lists what you need to have (and know) before you bring baby chicks home. Hopefully, this list will help ensure you are ready and confident to start raising chickens!
